Newcastle is an eastside city in King County, incorporated in 1994. Neighboring cities include Renton, Bellevue and Issaquah. Newcastle was one of the region’s earliest coal mining areas and its railroad link to Seattle was the first in King County. The city has an active trail building community, creating a system of trails that are integrated into new housing developments and parks. The Golf Club and Newcastle is owned and run by Oki Golf and a fantastic venue for weddings and other celebrations given it’s gorgeous territorial views. Several Seattle Seahawks players, current and retired, live in Newcastle. Due to its proximity to the NFL training facility.
