Part of the area north of downtown is a hip, vibrant mixture of unusual restaurants, funky cafes, thrift shops, condos and apartments. It’s a place to try downtown living, loft apartments, attend concerts at small venues, or find a trendy lounge to drink after-work cocktails. There’s a mix of newer and older condo and apartment buildings. Microsoft Commuter has a few pick up/drop off locations in the area.
